Since the beginning of this century ILS applied Six Sigma methodology in order to structure our broader TQM efforts. We evaluate the process and focus on variation reduction within a process by using DMAIC principles, which emphasize more on the input rather than output and involves corrective actions by:

  • Defining internal and external project goals
  • Measuring the process and performance
  • Analyzing the root cause(s) of the defects
  • Improving the process; and
  • Controlling future performance.
Goals vs Actual achievements

The practice reveals that there have been numerous benefits for our clients, e.g. the decrease in defects that are allowed to reach our customer, reduced cycle time, data based decisions and sustained gains and improvements.

We also deploy the 'Kaizen' approach to ensure our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) as a valuable tool to support our Six Sigma goals.

We encourage our employees and clients using a continuous process of focusing on ongoing improvement.
